Description: Unsual Practice Sampler Dated 1888 This measures about 14.5 x 24 inches fully opened. The design area is 13.5 x 18.5 inches. One-half of one side of border was never finished. I believe this was done by a boy, Jameson Dixon. I have no idea what "AM stands for, but in the LIncolnshire Archives (UK) dated 1904, there is a mention of "Mrs. A.M. Jameson Dixon and Edwin Smith, agreement for occupation of Searby Moor Farm (79a.) at £80 p.a..." This sampler would look great displayed on a dresser or a table.
