This is an extremely rare signed letter "C.S. Mott" on General Motors letterhead, Detroit, Michigan, dated Jan. 15, 1931. The letter is addressed to California congressman Henry Barbour, thanking his correspondent for his efforts in passing a bill regarding metal-clad airships for the U.S. Army. Mott signs at the conclusion in black ink. Shows original mailing folds, some chipping to edges, toning to the edges and a paper clip mark at top left.
