Description: Vintage 1950's Pink Atlas Deluxe Precision Sewing Machine w/Case - Made In Japan. Attachments include Ruffler Pat #2593519, a Binder Attachment, 4 Different Hemmer Attachments, and 2 Extra Feet. I read on the web that this model was a clone of the Singer 15 machine. The story was that at the end of WWII the US government gave the Japanese blueprints of the Singer 15 to aid in rebuilding their economy. The Atlas version has upgrades from the original Singer model so they run smoother and have extra features such as a chrome hand wheel and reverse stitch function. Please note that this machine was lightly cleaned and only turned on to make sure it worked, so all the functionality has NOT been tested and it is being sold AS-IS. I plan to do a video and post it shortly.
