Description: This is a nice used complete oil bath air cleaner for a 6 cylinder Chevy engine. I am not an expert on 6 cylinders so I wasn't sure what years this was correct for. I was guessing from 1955 to 1959 but thought it might also fit earlier and later years but I didn't know for sure. A fellow eBayer contacted me and told me this is correct for 1957 only. He told me 1957 used the single support rib and 1955 and 1956 had no rib and 1958 to 1965 had seven ribs. I am sure if you own one you will know if it is the right one for your car or truck so I will leave it up to your discretion if this will work for you. The part is in very nice condition. I see no major dents. It is pretty clean. it has light surface rust but nothing heavy. Has been in a box on my shelf in the garage for many years. Includes the main mesh filter housing and the oil bath base as pictured. I don't have the mounting bracket.
