Description: Handsome fold-out 1972 Phillips 66 road map of Tulsa and Oklahoma City, printed more than 48 years ago. This map opens to 18" x 29" and has good detail on old street and highway alignments, including US Route 66, with cartography by Rand McNally. Tulsa is on one side, and Oklahoma City is on the other. There is an inset plan of northeastern Oklahoma, including Stillwater, Ponca City, Bartlesville, and the Turner, Will Rogers, and Muskogee Turnpikes. This map was issued in 1972 by the Phillips Petroleum Company and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 72605419-12. Condition: This map is in very good, lightly used condition, bright and clean, with no rips or tears. There's a date stamp on the front cover, and a previous owner has made a few light pencil marks, locating a few addresses. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions.
