Oak (smaller diameter) and Poplar wood (larger diameter) for shotgun magazine ** duck/goose ( migratory birds federal requirement ) plug *** . Hand made - not mass produced. Each is hand rubbed with linseed oil or Tung oil , rubbed in at least 3 layers. Overall Length is 5 and 1/2 inches , smaller diameter is 1/2 inch, wider diameter is 3/4 inch. It is patterned and made with the same dimensions after a wooden Remington 870 duck plug ( 2 & 3/4 shotgun shells). It will fit many other makes (ex: Remington 11, 870, Browning & including most auto 5) and models : check and be sure it will fit your shotgun, If you are not sure check with manufacturer or a gunsmith.
