Each roll is 36 yards in length, is copper colored on both sides, and is 1.25 mil in thickness. You never want to run short of foil in the middle of a project, and this is a great chance to stock up on the best-selling brand in the industry. 3/8" width is a great width suitable for thick glass or overlay. Beware of ultra cheap, no-name foil! It is very thin and tears easily, and won't provide the strength needed for your stained glass projects. Plus, poor adhesive can make it a frustrating chore to foil glass and have it stick properly. Copper back foil is used for opalescent glass, where you won't be able to see the copper color showing through the edge of the glass.
