Description: AccuFLEX SMT 3390 Competition Graphite Wood Shaft Stiff Flex S .335" Tip (80 grams)These shafts were acquired directly from AccuFLEX. They were part of a canceled order which explains the SMT graphics. We never had any exact specs on these as far as kickpoint and torque but the weight range is 82 to 85 grams. Typically, shafts in this weight range will have a higher kick (lower launch) and lower torque (more control). Good for trying to reduce spin in the driver and would be very suitable for fairways as well given the weight. Balance point is about 53% from the tip which will yield good swing weight for a standard weight driver head at 45". There is no tipping instructions which we never used anyway due to building to frequency. General rule of thumb is to tip an inch for a driver and go from there but I would be careful as these do not have a very long parallel tip section as compared to some tip stiff models. Untipped it frequencies at around 240 cpm (without grip) for a driver. Use your best judgement given your specific build parameters.The graphics are minimal (gray) and the paint is black with some slight silver sparkle.
