Description: An absolutely beautiful antique 19th century loom woven wool jacquard piece. Wonderful large scale design. Beautiful rich old palette of very deep indigo blue & tan/natural/deep ecru. More primitive in nature having some fiber loss as seen in my photos. In lieu of it’s inherent flaws it is still very attractive. I’ll be listing a few variations of loom woven wool pieces in separate listings, all from the stock of a former historic fiber artisan. ***Measures~ 37” wide by 37” long Wonderful for primitive & artisan creations/fiber art etc.. I wouldn’t hesitate to hang or frame this. Even a table piece or on the back of a ladder back chair, covering a stool/ottoman would be lovely in a primitive farmhouse or historic setting.
