The date letter for Chester is a bit rubbed – I think it is 1918 but it may be 1915 – anyway it is reign of George V. The maker’s mark is also a bit rubbed but you can make out enough to know it says S M & Co and the registered design number of 475678 is very clear. The silver is in good undamaged condition and the pad is original. A great sewing collectable. I have a number of small antique silver novelty items for sale, happy to combine.
