Description: Antique French Cut Glass, Silver and Enamel Scent Bottle DescriptionA fabulous antique French solid sterling silver-mounted cut-glass scent bottle. Dating from the Belle Époque era, ca. 1910. With elegant, heavy, facet cut body and solid silver cap and collar. The cap with beautiful blue guilloche enamel top and ornate rim. Hallmarked with the French Minerva mark 1st standard, the highest standard of French sterling silver. The mark depicts the profile of Roman goddess Minerva beside the numeral 1. This indicates a silver content of 95% (higher than sterling which is 92.5%). It also bears the silversmith’s mark which is unfortunatley too small to make out clearly. Altogether a beautiful example of antique French silver which would grace any dressing table. ConditionIn good antique condition with expected wear. Hallmarks are clearly stamped DimensionsHeight: approx. 11.5 cmWidth: approx. 5 cmWeight: approx. 220 g Shipping I am happy to combine shipping for multiple purchases.
