Custom Made Bernina Foot Holder - store your presser feet on pegboard!

Description: It took me a while to try a Bernina sewing machine (I've always been a Viking/Pfaff aficionado), but once I did I couldn't BELIEVE the amazing stitch quality that Berninas produce. No wonder people are so devoted to these Swiss-made works of art! I still use my Pfaff for certain tasks, but my Bernina is my choice 90% of the time. So, once I got my machine, I realized that I NEEDED more feet. The problem was, I really didn't like the "Barbie Box" that comes with the machine. Plus, I quickly outgrew the capacity of the box. I like having my presser feet readily available and not tucked into drawers or behind doors (like the "Barbie Box") so I decided to design a way to keep my ever-expanding library of presser feet easily accessible while preserving precious tabletop workspace. Perhaps you have the same challenge I had? Well, here is the solution! These presser feet holders fit the various styles of Bernina feet and attach securely to regular pegboard. You can decide what type of pegboard to use... I have them on a 16" x 16" black plastic panel from a local hardware store. I've seen fancy 4-sided ones that spin around (think store displays) on popular websites in all kinds of fun colors. And there are stainless steel ones if you prefer a more industrial look. I've developed four styles of holders for Bernina presser feet. They are:A holder for "D" feet. These are the ones with the large sensor.A holder for "C" feet. These also have a large sensor. These will fit in the holder for the "D" feet but not as securely as in the specific one designed for them. This is because the ankle is narrower than on the "D" feet.A holder for "2-sensor" feet. The sensors on these are taller and narrower than the large sensor feet.A holder for "no sensor" feet. I think that's self-explanatory?You can see examples of the feet that fit each style of holder in the photos above.
