Description: Still gotta thin the herd. Here's one that I hate to see go (well...I hate to see them all go), but this one is particularly hard to find in the wild. It's a 2007 S620 EX1. A guitar center exclusive. It took me forever to find one of these that didn't have chips and bad scratches and so forth, and this one is in great/excellent condition. The finish is just stunning, and the S body is so comfortable to play. Due to the nature of this finish, it's so hard to see any scratches (there are NO dings or chips!), but if you look just right at the right angles and the light's correct, you can see the faintest of pick marks and light- minimal - but normal playing scratches. I'm probably over doing it in the description, the scratches are very hard to find or see - take look at the pictures. And to that point, the pickups are so new that do not have any of those playing marks at all as it never got played much after I installed them. And as seen in the pics, the only other thing I can call out is a bit of oxidization on a few of the screw heads- which can easily be cleaned up with a bit of steel wool (the reason I didn't, is that I've found some people either want the original aging (why, I have no idea) or they would rather do it themselves - but I'm happy to clean them up if requested. The guitar plays awesome- fast neck, no fret wear or buzz, killer pickups ($200+), 3 way switch (bridge, bridge+neck, neck) no neck pocket cracks, and no hairline cracks on the back of the neck where the bolts hold the locking nut - just a great, super clean, cool guitar. It's currently set up with 10's and in standard D tuning. I do have a used Ibanez molded hard shell case that goes with this as well as a Planet Waves guitar strap with some brand of strap locks (can't remember what brand). As you can see in the pictures, the case has the oxidation on the hardware, but everything works fine and the inside is very clean. But really the pictures show and tell the story on this guitar.wow, I think that's about it- if you're looking for a rare one in excellent shape, with no need to upgrade pups - here it is. I'm very accurate in describing anything I sell. I refinish and build guitars myself, and sell many via Ebay, Reverb and direct orders. I'm proud of my 100% feedback rating - for both sites (not just for descriptions, but for communication and honestly)- please check out my feedback. I only ship Continental US - Feel free to ask questions. Here's some info on the specifics I pulled from the web:The S620EX1 is an S series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2007. It was a spot model which was made in South Korea and was sold exclusively by the Guitar Center retail chain. The most striking feature of the S620EX1 is the special black, silver and blue (or purple) finish that appears to have been the process of painting several different colors and then removing some layers through sanding. It has a mahogany body bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and special claw mark position markers only on the twelfth fret. Components include dual "Designed by EMG" passive humbucking pickups (note: I upgraded those to the Dimarzio) and a ZR double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS2 tuning stabilizer. The S620EXQM and S620EXFB are similar models with, respectively, quilted maple and figured bubinga tops. The S620EXQ1 was offered only in 2007.
