Description: While the computer does boot, this item is for parts/not working. I do not guarantee the computer will work properly once fully set up. Here are my notes from formatting the harddrive for sale: Powered on and booted into Windows 7. Got a chkdsk message, but I believe that was due to corrupted Windows files. Windows 7 failed a fresh install using Windows recovery. I instead did a fresh install of Windows 10. There were no issues during the installation, and I was able to install all current Windows updates. Ran a chkdsk on the mSSD, and it came back clean. Windows is not activated due to the fresh installation. Final note is that I believe this NUC has issues with the system clock resetting, that would point to a faulty COMS battery. Might be worth replacing, just to play it safe. Please ask any questions before purchasing.
