Description: Woah! This is a beautiful, classic 3 row diatonic button box accordion (Steirische Harmonika) made in Cleveland, Ohio in 1951 by John Mikus - who studied under Anton Mervar, and was in-law kin to Don Krance. It is in the keys of C,F,Bb. It is in very good condition inside and out, and has a beautiful, loud, bright, clear tone with MMM 3-reed configuration. It only shows general signs of wear/use & has a classic mid-tremolo/semi-dry musette tuning, typical of that era and place. Has a stepped keyboard with German fingering with the standing keys (gleichtons) in the 2nd & 3rd rows, but can be easily changed to Czech/Bohemian or Hohner style fingering (without the standing/gleichtons) if you prefer, at no additional cost. Accidental notes can also be added to the top of the keyboard (like on a Hohner), but for an additional fee. Has 5 helikon basses, adjustable leather shoulder straps, a leather bass strap with, a palm air button (but can be changed to a thumb bar for an additional fee), and a nice carrying case in good condition. Bellows are in good condition. A sound sample and functional performance demonstration video can be provided upon request. Feel free to ask any further questions prior to buying, as sale is final. The instrument is described honestly and accurately. You won't be disappointed. Free shipping. * * * Reduced price if purchased directly * * *
