Description: This classic white stoneware platter measures 16 inches X almost 12 inches manufactured my J.W. Pankhurst and Co. - Hanley sometime between the 1850's to 1880's. It is really heavy for its size, as the old stoneware is. This item was found in New Orleans ( Where I was born and raised ) at a yard sale over 40 years ago. My wife and I have used it many, many times since then. Now we are downsizing to a smaller home. Please check the photos carefully and contact me with any questions - This platter is a very nice one.
