Description: True Turkey Red! Estate fresh! Red and white antique quilt. "Double T or T SQUARE" pattern. Dates from the late 1800s. Found during our last trip thru the midwest~this one comes from Indiana. All cottons. The red has faded to a soft pinky red~you can see the original "red" color inside some of the opened seams and inside the split binding. Measures 82 x 82 All cottons. Hand pieced and machine quilted. Batting is thin so it displays beautifully! I have not cleaned or treated this quilt. It's very clean! The red has faded differently (sun or age)~see the last photo of 2 red pieces next to each other. It has some popped seams and broken quilting stitches. Binding has split at the fold in some areas. I see a scattering of fabric splits/frays on the body. Photos show it all! Sounds worse than it is. You'll have no problem using or displaying this quilt! No odors. No dry rot.
