LOT 3 Antique sewing strawberry emeries 2 seeds, 1 velvet cap, needle sharpener. Description: Here's a little group of three early strawberry emeries, likely dating from the late 19th c to very early 20th c. Each are finished with a woven red wool cover over linen; two have green yarn caps, one has a velvet cap, and two have hand-stitched tiny seeds. I decided to offer them together at a good price since two have a bit of wear (see below); together they make a nice grouping in your sewing box or in a tiny wooden bowl or basket. Condition: The dark red one is in very good condition; The other two do have some wear to the red covering, although since they have a linen base, they are not linking emery sand. (See photos.)
