Description: Maxfield Parrish’s “Mutabile Semper” (‘Ever Changing”- Latin) - Original Period-Framed Black & White Illustration, (page 47 ) from the 1902 First Edition of Kenneth Grahame’s “Dream Days” illustrated by Parrish. (Copyright 1898 by John Lane). The image measures 5” 1/4”x 4”, outermost (period) frame dimensions are 7 1/2” x 6 1/8”. There is a small wood chip-out in bottom left side corner (photos 10 & 11), not that noticeable from the front. It is backed with 2-ply acid-free cotton rag board, new dustcover, hardware and bump-ons, August, 2024 and ready to hang (or display on a tabletop easel or plate stand (last photo, #20) ‘for demonstration only’, The Easel is ‘Not’ included. Parrish’s MP signature, bottom right corner (photo #7). It was never issued as a period print. Note: The first 12 photos are taken without glass to avoid reflection/glare issues, photos 14, 15 & 16 after completion of project. Also Note: Photo 17, 18 & 19, the book itself, and tissue lining are shown for provenance only. The book is ‘Not’ included, the tissue lining ‘Will’ be included. Quite a cute little piece for being 122 years old. Thanks for looking. I refund shipping charges over actual. USPS Ground Advantage is new and less expensive than USPS Priority. (Inv #2437-C)
