This small cross docking facility will make a unique addition to any layout. Not too modern, not too old, perfect for many mid to modern 20th century layouts. Just omit the rooftop A/C for older periods. Features include an optional to use outdoor loading platform perfect for a track-side freight depot, or go without it for an inner city LTL cross dock. Two sets of concrete textured steps of matching height to all side doors and platform. Also features a variety sign pack with alternate company names. Would you like your own custom company name? Leave me a message on the checkout comments on your order. Pre-cut overhead door openings with inserts to choose open or closed doors, or combinations. This is a card stock kit. Very detailed and low cost alternative to populating your layout with structures. Over 30 images were used to create the building texture you see here. The pictures displayed here show the model assembled with the top roof edges touched up with plain grey craft paint. The models still look great without touch-up. No cutting is required! Easy easy easy!!All pieces come pre-cut with perforated folding areas. You do not need a ruler or scoring tool to make fold like most other kits (but a ruler will make it easier). Our production process takes all the guesswork out for you! Only a narrow pair of tweezers (not included) to help with placement of some parts. A fine tip brush and paint (not included) can be used to conceal perforation makes if desired (see picture). Card Stock is a form of thick PAPER. This is NOT a wooden or plastic kit. I design all of my kits with simplicity in mind when it comes to assembly. They are not intended to complete with laser cut wood/card , brass or injection molded kits with many parts.
