Description: Beautiful late 1940s / early 1950s vintage day dress made of a textured silk or silk/rayon blend (there are no labels) in a light toffee / beige colour. The elbow length sleeved dress features a tailored sheath cut with a folded collar, small dipped back and a knee length hem with a twirly flare. The dress is unlined and closes at the back with a metal zipper. MEASUREMENTS: No size labels ... the bust measures 35 inches (therefore fits a size 32 bust best), the waist measures 27 inches and the hips are 38 inches. There is no stretch to the fabric ... as always, remember to leave room for you when using these measurements to determine fit. The dress is 42 inches in length.
