Description: Original post-WW2 US MILITARY map featuring ARNHEM and NIJMEGEN etc. Printed in October 1951. Entitled "WALCHEREN - AMSTERDAM", its source map is a WW2 British War Office sheet of the same title, although some of the colours have been changed from the original WW2 version. Despite the WW2 version being more valuable due to its association with the Airborne routes for Operation Market Garden, this post-WW2 US version is actually much rarer as it would almost certainly have been produced in far smaller numbers.
