This rare, handcrafted miniature roulette wheel from England circa early 1900s is a must-have for any collector of casino memorabilia. Made from beautiful Burl wood, this original Treen ware piece is in aged but excellent condition. The set includes a barrel shaped container in two sections, a roulette wheel, five betting plates and a ball, all in a convenient travel size. The five plates slot into the lower compartment and the roulette wheel fits into the upper compartment. Place the lid on to secure. Each wooden plate is hand-painted with fantastic detail featuring various kinds of marine life that match the figures on the roulette wheel. The roulette wheel is in working order and spins easily... The container lid has a hand cut hexagon inlay to the centre. The container itself is a beautiful aged piece of Burl wood with a lovely aged patina. Expertly crafted, all sections fit together easily and securely... there is an artist signature to the top container under the roulette wheel. The object of the game is simple with 5 to 1 odds. Place your bet on the matching plate where you believe the small ball will land on the wheel.
