Description: This is a high performance short wave radio, which I have owned for about a year and haven't used very much. The radio itself is in mint condition, as are the accessory items it came with. I found that depending on atmospheric conditions, and time of day I was able to listen to Ham radio conversations and broadcasts in the eastern half of the US, Puerto Rico, Latin America. There were many stations I tuned in to which were in other languages, which is cool but I am just not bilingual enough to make the most of the radio. These stations were located as far away as China, and included Spain, India, Turkey, and Mexico. All these stations were tuned in just with the installed whip antenna. From what I've heard, this is a receiver worthy of setting up and connecting an outdoor standing antenna. This is where the real performance can be achieved.
