Description: This auction is for an Autographed Ball Company contract which was signed four times. There is a hole in the contract to the left of the number three. The hole was caused when the rubber stamp of his facsimile signature was removed. The pictured item is the actual item you will receive. As seen in the photo the contract was folded to fit into a small approximately 6" x 3 1/4" manila envelope. The contact will be in this original envelope which has the player's name and team on it. During his career Terry Puhl played with the Houston Astros and Kansas City Royals. The Autographed Ball Company was started by MLB player Richard B. "Dick" Culler in 1947. If you have ever seen one of the classic vintage facsimile team signed baseballs that were available for sale at the ballparks and show up frequently in the hobby, these were created by the Autographed Ball Company. The company is still in business today providing the exact same as it has for nearly the last seven decades. They are the only company that has created the facsimile team signed baseballs and will only created them for the current year team. The multiple signature at the bottom of these contracts were used to obtain the signature that would be used for that given player when their name was added to one of the teams baseballs. In some cases you will see marks on the front or back of the contract showing where the company literally made the decision of which of the players signatures would be used. Please note the Dick Culler signature on these contracts is a pre-printed facsimile part of the contract. If you have any questions please ask. Thanks for looking!
