Description: True vintage / antique early 1930's Woman's / Ladies Custom Made Designer Dress with original B Siegel price tag, 135.00. Fashioned from soft ecru satin, with v-neck bodice, side opening with snap closures, long detailed sleeves coming to a point at wrists with snap closures, low waist and scalloped hem. Accented with faux pearl roping. This amazing dress was possibly used as a runway model, having come from the estate of an elderly woman who was a seamstress for Siegal in the 1920's and 30's. Siegel price tag, 135.00, a not insignificant amount for that time. Fashioned from soft ecru satin, with v-neck bodice, side opening with snap closures, long detailed sleeves coming to a point at wrists with snap closures, low waist and scalloped hem. Couture, with hand stitched rolled hem and neck binding, finished seams. Separate Lily , also hand sewn, can be attached at neckline, on shoulder, at waist, or left unused. Accented with faux pearl roping. This amazing dress was possibly used as a runway model, having come from the estate of an elderly woman who was a seamstress for Siegal in the 1920's and 30's. A wedding dress in the late 1920's style, or a cocktail / evening dress for the 30's. Measurements: ~Waist 32" ~Hips 32" ~Bust 32" ~Shoulder to hem, measured at the back from neckline to bottom of scallop 48" ~Sleeves 25" to point ~Shoulders 14" across Condition notes: Light Underarm stains, darker on the inside, (thus our belief that the dress was used as a model), small dark spots on lower side of skirt, see photos.
