Description: Thanks for looking. I have a very rare original decommissioning lighter for the USS Wisconsin BB-64. It was the last battleship. She was decommissioned on March 8, 1958. This great lighter comes with the original candy stripe box and instructional insert. The lighter is unfired and has only been opened a couple times since I've had it. The flint has disintegrated and turned to powder and there may be a little residue inside. As you can see by the photos this is a new lighter from 1958, and there can't be more than a couple in this condition in existance. The box has wear and 2 of the corners are torn as shown in the photos. This is a rare chance to own a piece of Naval history. Amazing item for the lighter collector or naval enthusiast.
