Description: Beautiful elegant home sewn 1970s maxi dress. Modeled on my size 8 dress form- I believe it will work for a modern size 10/12, and possibly size 14 with a small waist and narrow frame. The measurements are as follows: Bust- approximately 41" [ impossible to get an exact measurement because of the Empire style and v-neck] It will easily accommodate a C cup and up- it might be a little large on a b cup. Waist- 35" Hips-43" Center back neck to hem length- 57". In very good condition, but please note that the eye part of the hook and eye closure over the back zip is missing. Also, at some point in time some other vintage seller sewed a care label into it- I think to make it look like it was off the rack instead of home sewn? Either way- ignore the instructions on that tag! Hand wash this gently and drip dry. The fabric is a slightly stretchy woven polyester type blend.
