Unfortunately, I do not know how the books were cared for, where they were kept, if the people had pets or smoked. I check them for condition, and I check for any obvious smells and I try and describe them as good as I can – but this method is not perfect. Please keep this in mind when you bid on any used item – from me or anyone else. Unless the auction says that the item has always been located just in their own home, that it’s impossible to know how that item was kept. Older books tend to have some degree of tanning. These are all used books (unless otherwise specified) and although I find many that look like they have never been read, the majority have been so you can expect some wear/creasing from normal use.
