Vintage Excellent 1950s Stetson Beaver 10 Whippet 7-1/8

Description: Vintage Great - 1950s - Stetson - Stratoliner style (bound brim edge) - Beaver Ten 10 - Pinched Crown Fedora. This measures to a Perfect size 7-1/8.The picture of the whole top looking down on the hat is the best representation of the actual color of this hat.We are having difficulty determining the actual color of this fedora. It’s not one we have seen before. Inside the home it looks like a light brown-gray but outside it looks like it has a very light almost greenish tint to it? If anyone out there recognizes this color please write to us. So you are buying the hat color in that picture. This Stratoliner style fedora has near the same dimensions of the Labelled Stratoliner Fedora that Dad and I have. We took down one of Dad’s Stetson 1950s Stratoliner Fedoras and this has nearly the same measurements as Dad’s Stetson Stratoliner but this has a slightly narrower 2 inch wide brim. The original Stratoliner has a 2.35 inch brimYou can see that this is a 1950s because it has a thin plastic overlay on the liner.This was cleaned and shaped by my grandson and dad! This looks great with a perfect pinched crown and that dip in the front!NOTE: there is NO hat box in the sale. This box is in terrible condition! There were 2 fedoras inside, so there aren’t even hat holding inserts inside, beside being broken. You can always find these listed here on eBay.The beaver is very very soft and thick. We took out dad’s collection of 1950 Stetson Beaver hat, 3X 10X, 15X, 20X and the TwentyFive. This best matches a 10X Beaver. This was a higher quality everyday hat that could be an everyday hat.
