Description: Adorable automatic mini travel iron with converter.Never used, new old item with its original box and instructions.Uses 110/240 voltage.Works, heats up HOT and takes a long time to cool down when turned off.Made in Western Germany. Guessing around the 1950's or thereabouts.Maroon handle rubs off red on a tissue when Simichrome polish is used therefore I suspect this may be bakelite, as would be the plug end and possibly the converter unit.Woven red cord is immaculate.I don't think this was ever used.Everything in photo is included.Red pebbled vinyl case w brass zipper closure.Iron alone weighs about 1lb.Comes in at the 2lb rate when shipped.Entire box measures 6" by 3 1/4" by 2 7/8".
