Description: This is a very interesting and a bit strange little 1940’s plush, Turkey or Vulture 6”. Honestly hard to tell. No specific examples of this plush on the internet. Could be Steiff, Analee, hand made or any other maker of the time. Came from a US estate with a few other vintage Steiff animals for Sale. I found examples of several animal themed stuffed critters from the 1940’s, similar in style, some manufactured and others hand made, which is why I am dating this example around that period. Condition is decent for age, but it has the following issues. Some thread separation under wings. Slight stains and discoloration. Beads under eyes are still intact and original! But they are falling out. Could be fixed, but I sell everything as original as possible. No strange odors or animal hair. Estate was very clean with no pets.
