Description: Vintage Sterling Turquoise Ring SZ 12.75 Navajo Native American Herbert Platero This is a great ring with some nice components to it. The base is sterling silver and a gorgeous turquoise stone is set in a smooth bezel. Around the bezel is flat silver wire that looks like a horseshoe. The shank tapers attractively, and the base is darkened (oxidized) to highlight the wire work and the stone. It is a size 12.75. The shank tapers from 5/8" to 3/16" wide. The turquoise stone is 3/8" by 1/4". It weighs 6.3 g. The artist's hallmark is a conjoined "HP" for Navajo artisan Herbert Platero. This ring is new old stock, a piece coming from prior store inventory. Previously displayed but not sold. Touch of Turquoise invites you to Wear the West!
