Description: Second City Salvage is excited to offer this large scale school house pendant from the early 1900s that has been restored. Overall, it measures 14"w and will drop 26" from the ceiling once installed. The canopy is 5"w x 4"h and the chain measures 6" long (2 links can be removed to shorten the drop by 4"). The milk glass shade itself is a monumental 14"dia x 8"h and has a 6" fitter. Dents to canopy & fitter are as shown that are consistent with age and I think add to the character of the light. All components are brass and the patina is original. It has only been lightly cleaned. Condition issues are shown in last four pictures and chips on the shade to the outer fitter edge no way affect the integrity of the shade and disappear once it it on the shade holder. The light accepts a standard base bulb and will come to you with updated period correct cloth wiring and a modern cross bar needed for installation. Second City Salvage carefully packages and ships your item fully insured to the lower 48 states for FREE. Please contact us for a shipping quote to locations outside the Continental U.S.
