Description: Original WW2 8th Infantry Division uniform. The uniform is in service used condition and has a moth nip to the overseas bars. Original period applied cloth insignia and metal insignia. I restored the Combat Infantryman Badge and placed it into the original pin holes. The originally applied ribbons on the chest include: the Good Conduct, European theatre with 5 battle stars, and Victory ribbon.Interestingly, the uniform was reissued to our 8th Infantry Division veteran as evident by the removal of the previous owner's shoulder patches. As many know, often, these uniforms had multiple owners.Found in the pocket is a scrap of paper with a name or address on it.Very nice uniform to a unit that fought during the Normandy breakout, the Hurtgen forest, and other parts. Mannequin, shirt, and tie not included in auction. Please view all photographs as they are part of the description. I combine shipping, so please wait for an invoice if you have won multiple auctions. Please ask all questions before the auction's end. Sold as is. No returns. Payment due within 3 days of the auctions close unless other arrangements are made.
